On 7th March 2023 there will be a nationwide Census. A Census happens every five years to understand more about life in Aotearoa and how it is changing. It’s the only survey in Aotearoa that covers the whole population. We know that people are more than numbers, but we need to count everyone to ensure they are all represented as we plan for the future of our nation.
 
At present a recruitment campaign is underway. There are many paid fixed-term (full-time and part-time) contract positions available for Census Field Collectors. We are looking for people of all ages (18-75 years) and from all backgrounds and ethnicities. We are now hiring Census Field Collectors with training beginning at the end of January 2023.
